Richland County Public Library Events
1. S.T.E.M. Careers - Tuesday, January 27 at 6:00 PM at Richland Library-Main.
During this event, each organization ( Blue Cross Blue Shield, SCANA, USC, etc.) will have its own table with 5 to 7 chairs. We’ve asked our teens and the major questions they’ve had are 1) how did you begin working in a S.T.E.M. career? 2) What’s the best part of your job? 3) What is the most difficult part of your job 4) What is your educational background?
Our mission is to help teens with career discovery and we really want to create an informal, low pressure opportunity for them to meet professionals who have their 'dream jobs'.
2. Teen Advisory Board - Tuesday, January 27 at 7:00 pm
Earn volunteer hours while you help us plan the programs you want to see at Sandhills! Participate in service projects and have fun. Drop by the library to find out what we're doing this month!
For more information on how to sign up, please contact [email protected] or refer to the RCPL website for more information and to see other events going on: http://www.richlandlibrary.com/
